1 Ounce 2012 .999 Pure Copper Bullion Round Mercury Head Design

This copper coin stays close to the front of the original ‘mercury dime’ design. I have a side by side comparison photo here to demonstrate. The original dime has more depth in the face structure of the Liberty Head than the copper round, but you can only notice this when looking closely with oblique lighting.The copper coin comes in a bubble wrapped pouch and is enclosed in a plastic coin case. Despite the plastic case, mine came with a minor flaw with a blemish and scratch that you can see on the neck. I’m not sure if this is a manufacturing issue or whether is has something to do with improper handling while it was placed into the case to be shipped.Overall, I’m very happy with the coin. The only part of it that I wish I could change would be the reverse design of the coin – I wish the tail of the coin also matched the original liberty dime with the olive branch.
