VXA Men’s Swim Brief, Unlined, Red

These swim briefs are outstanding for swim training and look awesome at the same time! They are well constructed, extremely comfortable, and so far (swimming 3000m daily over the past couple of weeks) are resisting any fading with exposure to chlorine. They are also holding their shape well through daily swim workouts. Be advised that these are VERY skimpy speedos, and they leave nothing to the imagination, especially being unlined, which has the added benefit of drying extremely quickly. They sit very low on the hips (which I like), and the outseam is very narrow (which I also like) – specifically, one and one-eighth inches (1.125″) (on large and XL). Be careful with sizing as these are cut like Japanese speedos, which run considerably smaller than US sizing. I’m a size 31-32 in jeans, and in speedos, I typically wear a size 30 for training and a size 28 for racing. However, in these VXA briefs, the size extra large fits best for training (I would equate it to a size 30-32 in speedo-brand measurements) and the size large fits best for racing (I would equate it to a size 28-29 in speedo-brand measurements). The medium fits me as well (for racing – like a size 26), though it is a bit snug and tends to smash the jewels more than I’d like. But, when you find your size, these are awesome swim briefs that will hold up well in the pool and look great at the same time. I have them in every color and love wearing them. (I haven’t worn the yellow one yet, and that one looks like it might be a bit transparent when wet.)
